GM 12 Bolt addatives
Hello everyone,
I have a GM 12 Bolt Car rear end. When I changed the oil I used Valvoline and it stated you can use it in GM Possi units. Its A Hot, mostly street some strip truck so should I use any addatives? I think the rear end is pretty worn out, there where quite a few chunks of teeth when I cleaned it out. Thanks Jordon Last edited by xxllmm4; 02-19-2006 at 12:14 AM.

If the rear end chatters, then you need to add the posi additive. I am not sure with oil you bought, if it is synthetic, then some of them do not need the additive. If it is conventional gear lube I would run the additive.
