Traction bars for 58 Chevy PU

Hello everyone,

I am planning on buying some traction bars for my 58 Chevy Truck. The truck has not yet been run in it's current setup but I know it will need some help. This is going to be a street truck and will see some drag strip runs. It's not going to be a daily driver.
Leaf Springs
12 Bolt rear end
Nitto Drag Radials
you can see all the specs at http://www.callieskustoms.com/Calli...ur%20Truck.html

I would really like to use some off the shelf traction bars if I can. Anyone know about these at Brothers? I have seen these at a few places but would rather not waste my money if their not going to help. http://www.brothersonlinestore.com/p...number=RTB5559
Pros, Cons any help appricated.

Thanks
Jordon

bottom link didn't work. http://brotherstrucks.com/ , then search rtb5559.

just by looking at the pic, crappy and small. i would say don't get those. looks like they are trying to hide something. like crappy engineering, and/or workmanship. if you can like the style. regular slapper bars will work just fine. or the cal-track style works well also, but are much more expensive.

Look into mopar super stock springs. Custom adapt your existing springs in a similar fashion.
