I have a Tekonsha Prodigy

Go here for their offical web page

It costs around $110.00 or so. I pull a 2007 Pace Elite Limited series dual axle enclosed trailer and the Prodigy works excellent IMHO.

I use a Husky Excursion, it's a rebranded controller, identical to the Valley Odyssey. Self leveling, proportional. Got it on Ebay for less than half the cost of the Odyssey.

I have a Valley Odyssey. Easy hookup, good instructions, no complaints. I got it here:

Take a look around their website...good information on different types of controllers that are available.
