tranny fluid ?

Been told that type-f tranny fluid is better for my new duel feed th350 and will also give it a firmer shift.Is this true are is it hog wash?

I recommend only what the OE recommends. Don't mess with the universal fluids or any other modifiers.

Type-F will give slightly firmer shift feel. Your choice, Dex III, Type-F either will work fine. Many like the new Synthetics but they're pricey.

Dexron VI replaces the old Dexron III. It is far superior to the old Dexron III!

I agree, it's not cheap tho'. Dex VI is Synthetic.

GM went from Dexron III to the Dexron VI designation. Dexron VI is the latest Dexron fluid and replaces ALL Dexron fluid recommended for use in GM Automatic Transmissions.
