Tranny fluid engine flush?

Anyone ever hear of flushing an engine with tranny fluid? leave the old filter on and drain oil and fill with tranny fluid start and let idle for about ten min then drain and proceed to change your oil as normal?

Not a good idea, trans fluid is not designed to handle impact loads like motor oil is. You will ruin your engine in ten minutes running on trans fluid.

I have heard of people adding one quart of trans fluid to an oil change then changing oil in 3000 miles. Trans fluid has some very aggressive detergents in it.
