Tranny fluid heating up engine???

I have my tranny lines running through my radiator then into a tranny cooler. Will the lines going through my radiator increase my engine temp alot? Can I run the tranny lines just through a tranny cooler by it self and still have efficient cooling for the tranny fluid??? My tranny guys says the tranny fluid will heat up a lot more if I do not run it through both the radiator and additional tranny cooler.

I am running a 500hp small block with a 3200 stall. Thanks in advance...........

I doubt you will see an appreciatable difference in temp. You don't have to run the fluid through two coolers, just the external if you wish.
