And yes, that angled spot is supposed to be there.

Well I put the valve back together after cleaning it like Doubledick had stated and it now rotates freely. Took it around the block a few times and still no change... Looks like I'm about at the end of what my level of experience can check. Think I'll be headed to the tranny shop in about a month when I have some cash to throw at the old beast!
