Tranny identification

I picked up this tranny at a garage sale for $5.00 today. It appears to be in good shape inside. I am having trouble identifying it. I believe it is a a-833 mopar, but it does not look exactly like any of the pic or diagrams i have found on the Internet. It also has an OD 4th gear.

Any help would be appreciated, as well as it's value.......

All I could find on this is it matches a New Process transmission, but I couldn't find out the model number.

NP-440??? Mid 80's Chevy truck??? Only ever seen one, and it had the NP logo on the top of the case.

The A-833 was built by New Process. From what I gather, nearly the same guts in both Dodge and Chevy versions.

1 1/8" 10 spline input shaft for the Chevy trans.

Gear ratios where poor. Had a real wide spread between 1st and 2nd. Something like, 3.09 ,1.67, 1.00, .73. Dan
