Tranny for my 78 El Camino

Plans are too swap the 3 speed auto for a 4 speed auto. 3.73 gears are also planned. What is the advantages/dissadvantages between the 200r4 and 700r4 ??? I was planning on the 700r4, but I want too hear your opinions.

2004r has better gear ratio spread. 700r4 is stronger in stock/mild condition. I personally like the 2004r but it takes a bunch of cash to get them to handle horsepower.
