tranny splines?

Anyone know for sure if the late Ford & Chevy 1 1/8" x 26 spline clutch discs are interchangeable?

TIA!

Russ

Physically they fit the input. But the splines aren't the only things to consider, you have the spring rate to match the application if it has a sprung hub, the same thing w/the friction material, and of course the diameter.

Alignment tools differ in the diameter of the pilot bushing.

I'm considering running a Ford box behind an LS motor and one of the dilemmas would be a clutch with an LS pressure plate and Ford disc. If the Chevy disc fits the Ford splines, so much the better...
