Tranny swap 94 silverado 2wd 4L60E to a 700R4

Hi Im swapping the tranny in my 94 chevy truck it's got a 4L60E in it and I've had nothing but trouble out of it so I'm wanting to put a 700R4 in it has anyone done this b4 or know the specifics on what will need to b wired up on the new set up? Thanks

if I'm not mistaken, the only difference in a 94 4l60e and a 700r4 is the detent cable and speedometer cable. Your 94 will not have cables, I know and a 95 up will not work without modifications, only a 93-94 will be a direct swap.

Tranny swap

Well the 700 has a tv cable and both have the same speedo plug in so it's really just the lock up converter is what I need to make sure about! I'm bout to just put it in and figure it out the hard way I guess? I've been reading and a lot of different answers across the board so I'm goin with the simple ways first! Thanx alot 4 replying I really appreciate u!
