trans in 89 olds
i have a 1989 olds calais and it's always in high gear it never shifts just stays in high it's a quad 4 auto when i put it in gear it makes a noice for 1 second then works pretty good but doesn't go from l 2 drive it just starts in high and stays there what can i do the tranny doesn't slip or go through fluid just a lack of power when you 1st start until you get to about 30 mph

your trans it dieing , the only cure is a trans shop.
