Cool Trans Am Air System

I'm looking at buying a 1987 Trans Am. The air system/ air conditioning works fine, but when I turn the fan to the highest setting, it either quits blowing air or blows air softly. Is this a major problem or just a small, repairable one? <img src="graemlins/evil.gif" border="0" alt="[evil]" />

Is it just when the air conditioning is on or does it do the same thing with the heater on?I'm not sure about the blower motor for a 87 becuase I can't find it in my catalogs but, that doesn't mean my supplier doesn't have it.But,for 89-90 Firebirds they run about 89.95
