Trans Am rearend in an El Camino

Just have a quick question.

I have a rearend from an 85 TA and I want to put it in my 80 Elky. What would be the best and/or easiest way to do this? The rear is a 3.73 Posi with discs.

Are you sure that will work? Better check the suspension mounts, spring type and location, the width between backing plates, and the shock mounts to make sure it will interchange. Other than that, I believe your proportioning valve should work but if it doesn't an adjustable one is available to customize the front-to-rear ratio so the rears won't lock up.
