Trans leak

Gotta 350 turbo out of a 72 Chevelle in my 54 chevy 1/2 ton truck. Was doing some work on the front end. Had it jacked up in the front pretty high. Now I have trans fluid leaking around the speedo cable and drive shaft . Was it too full,or do I have seal issues. No leaks before. And no,I did not stand the truck on end, just a couple feet higher in the front. Thanks. Cary.

I would check your speedo housing seals. there is an "O" ring and a small seal by the cable conection......wouldn't hurt to replace the rear driveshaft seal too.
