How do you intend to use the truck?? Street use, with a trip to the track once in a while the TH-350 makes a better choice. Full on drag truck in bracket racing, the Powerglide might be the best choice, but the truck is just a bit on the heavy side to really work well with a Glide. Get the truck 1000 lbs lighter than stock and full drag use, the glide would work well.

A good shift kit, or a manual valvebody depending on how much control you want. If your making good power and torque(450+) you may want to get an aftermarket drum/intermediate sprag as the stock roller sprag/drum is the weak point in a TH-350. You lose second gear when it breaks the sprag, have to tear the trans down, clean it out, and replace drum.

BTE and TCI are two sourches I know of for the 36 element sprag/drum.

Neither, a truck needs a TH400, or any heavier vehicle for that matter. After you replace/repair/rebuild a couple of TH350's, you'll agree.

Oh, and about your "handle"; do a YouTube.Com seach for "Oklahoma farmtruck" (farmtruck, one word); it's pretty impressive.

Agree, this is really the place for a 400, I was just trying to give him a heads-up on the weak point in a 350.

I've seen video of that truck, ugly as sin and goes like stink!! Heard he has made a bunch of money grudge racing it until word got around.
