I have a th350 trans that i blew the pump gears up well got a new pump took the trans housing apart clutches drums etc. all but the valve body only because i'm afraid to play with it cleaned put back together any way ran fine for a day then started slipping pulled the tranny out clutch burnt go figure well took back apart this time took the valve body apart looking for any metal found some of that, found a valve stuck in the valve body would this make my trans slip?haven't pulled the governor apart yet maybe it's that?

No it sounds more like either a leak from the sealing rings or low fluid and then being driven. You might as well rebuild the whole and make sure it is right.

got a problem with my th350 tranny that i need help on here goes.... I blew the pump up on it got a new pump had it cleaned put back in new seals in the drive clutches and i burn the clutches up so get new clutches and burn them up to the tranny guy won't warranty my tranny because i used the old stall converter on it just wondering if my stall is the problem why i'm burning up cluthes,, some times the trans works great then some times it just don't and i'm getting the slipping thing going again,,,,,, got new green clutches this time new seal kit the works but don't want to put in just incase it might be my converter would take to another tranny place but that's like 3 hour drive away.......

What motor do you have? Are you using the radiator as a cooler or do you have a remote cooler? Does the fluid seem to have a burnt smell. Heat is a tranny's worse enemy.
