trans swap

I'm doing a 700r4 trans swap on my 68 camaro, Does anyone know what speedo gear I will need for 17 inch wheels?

you need to know the rear tire diameter and gear ratio of the differential to select the correct speed-O gears for the trans

There is a speedometer gear calculator link somewhere on Bowtie Overdrive's website.

I have some links in the Speedometer Information thread I had in here a while ago, do a search for "Speedometer Information" and you should find it.

You'll need your axle gear ratio AND tire size.

Only problem with TCI's site is it want's one of the gears already in there, the other site tells you what to put in for both drive/driven gears.
