Trans wires?
I have a 68 C20 with what I believe is a Muncie SM 465 4 spd trans. This trans has a couple of wires that go into the top forward corner on the drivers side. I've traced them into a harness in the engine compartment but haven't a clue where they go from there.
Anyone know what they are for? Maybe a back-up alarm that doesn't work? (There is no evidence of an alarm ever having been on the truck) Thanks...

Most likely for the back up lights.

Trans wires
Thanks guys, none of the manuals I have even hinted at back up lights, and one of them is a '68 Truck Chassis manual from Chevrolet! Go figure.
