Transaxle layout
well there is a one more question about weird idea: how to convert common FR layout into transaxle? seems to be good way to 50/50 front/rear distribution....

I know that 5th generation ('97-'04) and 6th gen Corvette ('04-up) are front engine rear transaxle layouts.
And they are very well balanced.
