transfer case

I have a 77 chevy p/u and I was wondering can anyone tell me if the transfer case off of my manual tranny will bolt up directly to my automatic tranny and if not what do i need to do?? thanks

What model is the manual tranny,the transfer case, and the automatic tranny?

The manual transmissions SM-465, came with a NP-205.
The automatic transmissions TH350 & TH-400 came with the NP-203.

Earlier automatics came with the NP-205.

No the 205 will NOT directly swap with what you have on hand.

Yes they can be swapped, but you will need a different transmission to transfer case adapter, and the associated coupler to mate the transmission output shaft to the transfer case input shaft.

I don't have the time right now this evening to do it, but I will look up the part number and availability for what you need. Send me a PM to remind me.
