I am trying to set my transfer slot to the square range of .02-.04 but i have my curb idle backed all the way off but my slot is still too exposed no where near that.

I'll measure tomorrow to see where I am. I just figured it was to exposed already so I didn't bother measuring it.

Does this carb have a choke on it? If it does and your trying to set your transfer slot with out the choke open it will be on the fast idle cam. If it is just hold open you choke plate all the way and then let the throttle come off the fast idle cam and make sure you hole it then turn it over and you will be able to set it just right. Hope that is what your issue is something simple.
