When I had my TH350 rebuilt by a local shop I handed them a Transgo 1-2 kit and told them to install the "heavy duty" version of the kit. Upon driving the rebuilt trans I noticed it shifted just like stock. Is this normal or did the rebuilder just not install the kit? Anyway how hard does the "street/strip" version of the kit shift? I'm thinking of buying the kit again and putting in the street/strip version myself. Does it shift annoyingly hard at mild/part-throttle too? I'm looking for a bit firmer at part throttle and firm/hard at full throttle upshift. Any insight would be very helpful. Thanks.

just remove the 1-2 accumulator spring on the side of the case if u have a adjustable modulator turn up the line psi is the kickdown cable hooked up and are u running a high stall converter that will make the shifts solfter

also alot depends on th gear ratio a car with 273 ratio wont shift as hard as a 355
