Transgo Th350-3 shift kit

Just got my Transgo shift kit for the TH350. It is the version that converts the valve body to full manual shifting...no automatic shifting. Looks fairly straight forward to install however it is not clear whether I should discard all check balls or leave them in. I actually throw these away when I planned on just buying a aftermarket manual valve body. Has anybody installed this particular kit and did you include the check balls. I know in the other kits for the Th350 new check balls are included in the kit but not the 350-3 so I'm assuming it is ok to omitt them.

that would be an incorrect assumption.

the instructions I have in front of me are clear about using check balls and the new kits I use all include new check balls.

At the very least the check ball near the modulator valve must be used or very low pressure will result.

Listen to Crosley. I used a TransGo kit in a T-400, used check balls and a new separator plate I had to drill for shift harshness.

Thanks a lot...I was going to leave these out. I guess it's just missing from the kit. There is a diagram showing where these check balls are located but nothing in the kit. Guess I'll have to call Transgo in the morning to have them send me the missing check balls.
