transmission

hey yall whats up...my uncle is in the middle of putting a 1993 mustang gt 5.0 ho motor in my 1967 mustang coupe...the engine has a a few performance parts on it and my uncle said the stock c-3 transmission will probably need to be beefted up ...do any of yall know how much it would cost at a transmission shop to beef it up ?? like average cost...man i want it when it shifts gears to kinda squell the tires lol haha yall know what i mean... so any advice would help ....

Why do you have a C3, that wouldn't be stock with either the 67 or the 93 5.0L....?

But I agree with Nightfire, if you can afford a tranny swap, a beefed up C4 or AOD would make you happy, try Hughes Performance, or Performance automatic....

The C4 would be an easier swap, they came in 67s... the AOD is longer and would require some fitting.
