Transmission Clunk Noise on Stop
I'm currently having a minor issue with a TH-350 behind my 355cid, the transmission is a TCI SUPER STREETFIGHTER (Brand new, 40miles) with a 2800 stall, when i come to a complete stop I here a clunk in the transmission, almost like its disengaging from gear or something, but when i take off again its perfectly fine, no clunk.
also when i first start the car up and put it in drive, I have to rev it up a little bit to get it to engage in drive, and you hear the clunk again when it engages then I'm off and good.
The clunk COULD be the converter unlocking..........
Sounds to me like something restricting the oil flow to the first speed clutch pack. JMHO
