Does anyone have good alternatives to flushing transmission cooler and lines?
There are many options out there as far as store bought flush in a can.

I use a 1 gallon jug of brake cleaner, a small electric fuel pump and 2 paint filters and funnel. I go up through the pressure line, through the cooler and then back out the return line, catch the junk and crud in the paint strainers and then funnel it back in the jug. Seal and reuse a few more times, if you don't feel it is clean enough, it can run as long as you want it to, not limited to what is in the 24oz. can for between $12.00 and $18.00. After it is clear and clean, apply light air just enough to dry it out.

Opinions of this alternative method good-bad or indifferent?

my tranny guy would ONLY warranty the trans if i used a inline fuel filter on the inlet of trans... keeps the small junk out. i change it every spring...
