Transmission cooling line pressure 700r4

Guys, what would the cooling line pressure on a 700r4 be at operating temp., and what would that temperture be?
Also could you use rubber lines in some places in routing the lines. Maybe high press fluid hose. I am thinking from the first 6-8" of steel line, and the rest be rubber. Is this a bad idea?

rubber hose is bad idea. IF you run rubber hose it must be a hydraulic type hose at proper rated PSI

Cooler line pressure can run 25 - 80 psi depending on the trans setup - shift kit and internal modifications

Thanks Crosley, That answers my questions. Its a tight place and to be able to work the lines around things would be tough. I wanted to use about 6-8" from the trans. and then work the rest with Hydraulic hose up to the radiator, then go back to steel. Thanks a lot.

From an auto-parts store power steering return line would be what to look for (should have the press & temp rating on the hose). Good auto parts stores will sell it by the foot on a spool. Make sure it is shielded from exhaust heat and inspect/replace it periodically.

Thanks Triaged, I didn't think of that. It is probably cheaper than hydraulic
hose too. I will check it out.
