transmission fluid in torque convertor

hey yall, im puttin a tranny (350) in today and need to know how much fluid to put in the torque....any suggestions

Put at least a quart in the converter. Pour slowly as it takes a while to get in. Put at least 4 quarts in the transmission before you start the engine. After you start the engine, begin putting 4 more quarts in immediately. Assuming your trans is dry; it will take 10-12 quarts to get it to the FULL mark. While parked and running, shift thru the gears to help circulate the fluid.
