Transmission I.D.

I would like some help figuring out what I have. I aquired a 4 speed chevy trany from a guy a few years back and thought it was a Saginaw . After closer inspection I find that the flange on the front that goes into the bell housing is 5 1/8 dia instead of 4 11/16 , that is ok as I was going to match it to a truck bell housing with the 5 1/8 hole. The case is heavy ribbed (on bottom) cast iron and the tail shaft housing is Aluminum. The plate has 10 bolts , the reverse shift lever is into the case below the plate, I can find no transmissions with that type of reverse lever. the tail shaft has a mechanical speedo connect . The input shaft is 10 spline and all appears to be GM ,overall length is all identical to a muncie M-20 that I also have.
Could I have a truck trany?

Thanks for any help.

Tom

Yep, got one in my old 84 Cheavy beater truck. Terrible ratio spread, The tired old six doesn't like the big RPM drop going into high.. She now tends the fields...
