I have come into posession of a "Turbo-hydramatic" transmission which I think came out of an early eighties Olds diesel. It has a tag affixed to the tailshaft housing which says " Turbo Hydramatic" then the following number,81-OT-31012. Anyone have any ideas what it may be, and if it will work in other applications besides Olds Diesel?
Thanks, Patrick

Most likely a TH400 out of a 1981 Oldsmobile. If it has provision for a speedometer it will bolt up to most BPO motors and work. If no speedometer hole, it is Olds only.

I had an 82 Olds Delta 88 station wagon that came with a TH-2004R, I remember it because of the shape of the pan.
