transmission lines on a turbo 350
alrite i recently built a 85 silverado with a turbo 350 tranny i am having a hard time finding transmission lines and i was wondering if instead of the traditional metal lines could i just use rubber lines. the only harm i could see is the heat around the headers but if i ran them around the headers it should be ok am i right? any input would help a lot

tranny lines
steel brake lines are the the size tubing any good auto store will stock steel lines.check the phone book

Hi,i bought my lines at NAPA,take your old lines to insure correct size.

Try looking in the www.lmctruck.com catalog, page 129. They have cooler lines for $54 plus a charge for oversize shipping.
