Alright, yes i do work on antique cars, no im not a automatic transmission expert. I have a 82 pontiac grand prix with alot of heavy mods. i have a th350 chevy with a b&m full trans rebuild kit and shift kit, including a new b&m 2000 rpm holeshot converter. the car was sitting for about 2 or 3 months then i started driving it again. i got to work one day and the car was stuck in drive. the shift cable still worked and the transmission would ingage the park pin but the only gear i had was what seemed to be drive. i let the car sit until i was done work and the trans seemed fine again untill i started moving then it was stuck in neutral. i just had a hunch and pulled out the governor and it seemed to be stuck. can anyone confirm how the governor is supossed to act or hopefully figure out my problem.
