Transmission Question

So i am puttong an 88 350 in my nova its a truck engine completely rebuilt to 3.25 hp and is a very strong engine. it is coming with the trany but it is a 4 speed and my car is a 3 speed. is it going to need new mounting brakets or will it fit in the old ones and also how do i change my dash cluster to a 4 speed when it is a speed dash cluster... if u can help please do.

if its a 4 speed auto you have to modify cross member shorten drive shaft and you will need a carb bracket for throttle valve cable off the trans

Standard or Automatic? 3-speed what? 4-speed what? Some are bolt-ins. Some require mods.

You need to be more specific....what trans do you have now and what trans are you talking about puting in?

Might check with Shiftworks and see if one of their shift indicator lenses can be modified to fit your Nova.
