transmission - rearend
Hi first timer: i have put a v-8 in and would like to know what rearend would be the closest mounting match for a 49 chev fleetline.

I built a 50 chevy 1/2 ton truck with a hopped up 235 six cylinder.
I used a 68 chevy truck rear diff to get rid of the torque tube drive shaft stuff. This allowed me to keep the 6 lug wheels at both ends. Tony
