Transmission rebuild

I was wondering what specialty tools will be needed to do a transmission rebuild. thanks, ahouse

I am wondering what type of transmission you would be trying to rebuild.

700r4, we also are putting a b&m shift kit in it

You will need a low/reverse clutch spring compressor tool.
You will need an input shaft teflon seal installer and sizer.
You will also need a way to replace various bushings.
You will need a method to compress the various clutch return springs in the drums.

I wouldn't use the B&M kit, buy a TransGo Reprogramming kit.

700R4 build

#1 Go to( www.transmissioncenter.net) they have everything for 700R4's,ORDER the DVD on 700R4's and go from there.
