ok i have a 1995 chevy 3500 2wd with a 4L80E with a 454. the tranny took a s@%t the other day and i have a 91 4L80E that i got from work cheap that works. and the connector for the shifteris difffernt and some of the plugins are different will this still work......

no need to shout for help here at HR... welcome abooard.
There is a replacement harness available from trans parts houses like NATPRO....
They come with instructions on how to rewire your truck's pig tail end for the updated plug for the trans ( Round plug, about 1.25 inches)
Some 4L80e had a short shifter shaft, some had a long shaft... that is all a direct swap IF needed.
The long shaft is for the MLPS ... a black box device often bolted to the trans with the shifter shaft through it. these are fully swappable too. Watch for burrs , sharp edges on this shaft if you need to remove / install items.
I believe : natpronet.com will get you to the NATPRO site OR look for others... most of these parts are not availible from Checker Shucks , Auto zone.
