Transmission Swap 700r4 in place of 4L60E?
I'm wanting to take my 92 GMC 700r4 transmission 4x4 and put in 93 Chevy Blazer what would I have to do to make it work in the Blazer because the 4l60e transmission is bad and is it possible to change it over to a 700r4 transmission?

I might be wrong but I thought 4l60e were not used until late 93. Yes it would work. But if it is an 4l60e your ecm wont be able to connect to the 700r4.

I apologize I all I know it is a 4l60 16 bolt pan and what would I have to do to make the passing gear work on the 700r4 because it's cable and the 4l60 is electril selenoid.
