Transmissions that bolt to a 2.2L chevy S-10

Hello, I am new to this site and this is my first post. I was wondering what transmissions would bolt up to a 2.2L chevy S-10. I searched the net an could not find the information I was looking for. Thank your for your time, advice, and knowledge in advance.

Those can also be found behind 2.8, 3.1 & 3.4L 60*/V6 engines.

thank you for the advice. this is gonna be my first " project " i guess you can say, though i've helped more then a few friends with things on their vehicles. my initial plan for it as far as performance wise is to keep the original 4 cylinder thats in it instead of swapping it for a V-8, the reasons im doing that are because EVERYBODY swaps V-8's into them and I wanted to be different and off set that, im also going to see how far i can push that little 4 cylinder. I plan on doing as much as i can myself, mainly for learning an experience 'cause you can never really learn to much or have enough experience under your belt. again, thank you for the advice and knowledge.

I'm not sure which direction i want to go with it as far as how im going to build the 4 cylinder but i wanted to know my options as far as transmissions go.
