The FMX, C4 and C6 are entirely different transmissions. It might confuse some as all were marketed at one time under the option name of Cruise-A-Matic.

Kul; Any idea where I can get a complete rebuild manual? Seem to be out of print @ all the usual suspect sources.

<a href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0879382937/inktomi-bkasin-20/102-2601821-7325707#product-details" target="_blank">-Amazon.com-</a> has a manual published by Motorbooks. Don't know how useful it will be.

<a href="http://www.atsgmiami.com/" target="_blank">-ATSG-</a> offers quality publications, but doesn't seem to offer anything for FMX. You might contact them and inquire. Maybe find an old issue on e-bay.

Other than that, just older FORD service manuals.
