tri carb idle adjustment

I have a tri carb set up on a 350 sbc, bored 60 over; I'm having a little trouble getting the idle right; the first and third carbs have no idle mixture adjustment screws, only the center carb does, is the problem? Does the 1st and 3rd carb need idle mixture setting screws also? I hope not... thanks - kip

They do not have idle circuits, make sure their butterflies are closed when the engine is idling and that no fuel is dribbling from them because of failed float valves or excessive fuel height.

All idle should come off the center carb just as if it were a 2 barrel intake.

And remove the end carbs linkage so it won't fuel (?) ...fool you. When you have the idle correct, reconnect the linkages (adjusted correctly even if progressive).

Some systems do have an idle circuit on each carb. I don't think you want to go there...
