I have never been a big fan of the Tri-fives, but like the 55 looks better than the others. A 65 Impala SS is the only Chevy car I have owned (not counting several Corvairs for daily work drivers). I considered a 67-68 Camaro, but settled on a 68 Cougar because I liked the way it drove in comparison to the Camaros. Olds, Chryslers, Rivs and Caddys have occupied my wife's side of the garage since the Cougar moved out.

Hard to pick but I've always dreamed about owning a '55 BA 2 Dr. Hdtp. or Conv., white with red/white interior, wide whitewalls and a Continental kit......... Never gonna' happen though.

I like '55's the best. '56's are OK, and '57's have too flashy of a front end, but have a nice rear end, if there was a way to put a '55 front end on a '57, it would look awsome.

a guy I know has a '55 2dr post and a '55 2dr Convertible, the convert is almost finished, needs to be painted and have a top made. it will be red and white. he put in a 350/T350 combo but has the original 265/glide in his garage.

1956... Hands down! No arguments from anybody! Of course this is just my opinion and I am sure some guys will disagree but I really don't care about them and neither should you...

Which Tri-five Is The Best Looking????

When I was young-er I liked the 55 two door post as they made a tough looking street car with the rear wheel wells opened up and cheater slicks. I also like the 56 Nomad, probably the nicest station wagon of all time. Never did care for the 57's, they always looked to high brow for me.

I could pick 55 or 57 evenly.
I never really admired the 56's, that is until I saw a local one that was just beautiful in everyway possible. Now, that car is STUCK in my head when I hear 56!

I thought the tri-fives all had the same body, just trim differences. The '57 had more pronounced headlight visors and a ridge along the top of the fenders. Why not just do it the easy way....... put '57 tail lights on the '55 and exchange the dash?

Al

BTW I like the '56 much better.

I always liked the 56's better. I never liked the fins and ornamentation on the 57.

TexasSpeed at first I thought that might be you as Santa but after I checked out your website I realized the kids must be yours. Nice car though; I can see why it is stuck in your head.
