Tri Power and 700R4 set up help please

I am still trying to find the best way to set up a 700R4 with my Tri Power intake there is not an after market linkage available for my Stromberg WW carbs but the linkage point for the TV cable on my carb seems to come very close to matching what I have seen in some post 11/8" from shaft center and a 78 deg arc to WOT I am using an after market TV cable which is not self adjusting. Should I just use the WOT full cable setting or the transmission pressure at Idol and WOT? If the pressure method is best what range should I be in. I called Mad Dog and ask them and they just want full cable extension at WOT but with my application I don't feel to safe with that I really don't want to trash this $1200 transmission. I have new engine trans and posi section so want all to be right. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

nope....... lets not be anal about them neither.

this 700 tranny needs a good pressure rise ( rapid) , not a slow rise as the TV is pulled quickly as if you stomped the LOUD pedal
