i recently put tripower on small block chevy. i used rochester 2 bbl. the idle circuits have been taken out of the front and rear carbs. when i step on the gas it has a bog and when i m am drivng and go to give it a littel gas it has a bog. what could cause this. any help please.

Do you have progressive linkage or do all the carbs open at once? If the latter, you have too much port opening. Get a progressive linkage. If you already have that, adjust it for later opening of end carbs.

i do have progressive linkage. and they open kinda late but not real late. the bog is when i first give it gas not so much going down the road. it will do it from time to time when i am going down the road but mostly when i start off.

I would second both of those and start with the accelerator pump.

i messed with teh acclerator pump and all seems ok. there isnt any slop in teh linkage, when i give it gas everything is right there. as far as the timing goes i have messed with that before and it didnt seem to help to much. would one of those advance kits help. make the advance come in eairler. i also forgot that there is a mild cam in the motor. it is suggested at liek 1100 to 5500 rpm range could that have anything to do with it?
