sorry, didn't mean to snap if it sounded like i did.
i get so tired of hearing "cnc" as a buzzword that most don't even know what they do. yes they have a place in machining, but they are not the do all, end all, piece of equipment that some would have you believe.
I've always said a crap machinist can make junk on the nicest cnc, but a great machinist can make outstanding stuff even on worn out junk. it truly comes down to the person running the stuff.
