I knew it was before 63 because I was there then, and Spirit of America set a record but was not wheel driven and the brits raised cane about that. I didn't think it was in the forties because of the war. I had no idea when it was. I have hundreds of pictures from the salt flats , a buddy of mine had run out there up until a couple years ago. I guess if these are going to keep getting harder google is going to get a workout, it will be like Dave W said might learn a little. My trouble would be retaining it.
