This one is not too tough.

Well, if no one else is going to take a crack at this, I will venture a guess....

1. Rob Bruins
2. 1979
3. By earning more championship points than any of his competitors did.
4. I don't know
5. Gaines Markley

Good Morning Joe. You got enough right to baffle us next. The answer to 3. & 4. is by winning all the division 6 events attended and only going out in the first round of a national event once. I believe he runnered up at 3 national event races. 1979 was the last year that Top Fuel, Funny Car and Pro Stock were contested at the divisional level. Gaines was definitely a guy who unfortunately passed last year. Thanks for the fun

Bill

OK, here is the next question.....

In 1957, you could order a customized '57 Chevy directly through Chevrolet dealers. Even though they cost about the same as a factory built Chevy, only 10 were sold. These cars were not called Chevrolets, What were they called?

You are correct. Guess that question wasn't as hard as I thought. Only took 8 minutes for it to be answered. That might be some kind of record.

El Moroccos were made in 1956 and 1957. There were 27 made in '56 and only 10 made in '57.

A '57 El Morocco Convertible is going to be auctioned off this weekend at the '57 Heaven Museum Auction in Branson, MO. (click here for photos and info)

Go ahead with the next question, Bill.

Joe. The only way I knew was that I was reading about that auction. Ok I am working on the question. I will post as soon as I finish putting the new brake lines on my customer 36 chev.

I have never heard of these and blown away frankly. This took some serious mods, it isn't just bolting on some crap. Same price, how in the heck could it have been the same price?

Brian
