I had a white 2011 Mercury Grand Marquis on order, but since they quit making them, will have to keep looking ........ hmmmm ....... maybe a 2011 Chrysler 300 (.... not in my garage!!!! EVER!!)

But I really would like my BIL's 8 year old Lincoln with only about 15,000 miles on it, but it is only a off white pearl color

Too easy. The 1964 GTO was credited as being the first... and John Delorean was given the credit.

Since the term "Muscle Car" didn't exist before then... and that is widely viewed as the "Muscle Car Era" ('64-'70... before unleaded and lower compression), can something before or after that even be considered eligible?

BTW, I heard a guy in Salt Lake was putting 6-horse teams on his smaller wagons in 1820. :-)~

I'll wager my nearly 50 years of involvement... and my 6000 magazines of cover to cover research. I remember when the Pontiac dealer got them in, and I had to go look at this new approach to American performance cars. {:-)

Just posting to move this thread back to the top - we seem to have been neglecting it - and it is too much fun to let it just die!

To quote the name of the TV show - "Who's line is it anyway?"

jetnow1 had the floor but asked a question that really couldn't be answered. I have not seen him around but maybe he will get this and ask another question.

If not I vote for Brian to take the floor, I feel like some odd picture of something off of something no one has seen before.LOL
He has got one on a thread now, that the part doesn't make much sense but there it is.
Brian jump in

Nope - but it kinda looks like one - I do recall as a wee one that an old lady in Hamilton, NY used to drive a Baker in the late '50s
