Knowing how much you like little cars, must be an engine for one of the early Hondas or maybe an Isetta?

Nope, it is an induction system in a production car that most of us love or at least admire when we see one.

Gonna say it's for LPG, natural gas or propane- not gasoline. No idea as to the application.

How about a few more photos? The last one is with the cover on it as it sits in the car.

Nope it is an induction intake manifold from a mass produced American V8 engine. Name the engine and the year and you get a cigar.

Let me say that the induction in my question is a FACTORY set up, not aftermarket.

LA, the Corvette fuel induction was made by Rochester.

Here is a 1957 Vette (first year) 1957-1962.

And here is the 1963 version. (1963-1965)

Good call. Suppose it might have been a '57... or none of the above! Not to steal MARTINSR's thunder, but below is one in a Pontiac:

the 57 was a tubular design, the 58 was cast. I was just guessing if it was but I was aware they had FI those 2 years.

I'll give it to you LA, it's a 57 Pontiac. It's your floor.
