Yep, that is a 63 wheel cover as the 64 had an "R" instead of the Buick shield. The cover is aluminum and bolts to the wheel with studs and nuts on the back side. The center section comes off like a Chevy Rally wheel.
You mentioned the name Bill Williams, that was my tie in he oversaw the design of both. Do you know another thing about them, in their body construction that was the introduction of this process? (at GM at least but I think they were the first) It's your floor BB Brian

Crosley shelvador, the Crosley. I have always loved those cars and I swear the grille in a 48ish Crosley looks like it is a shelf from a fridge!
 This car literally looks like a fridge that has been knocked on it's back.   Brian

GM-Frigidaire  100 years ago, Maytag made cars and trucks.  GE made an electric car 100 years ago, but I couldn't find a pic. Here is a car that GE made recently:  And here is a fridge that was made by IH.

Well lots of answers but not the one I was looking for. I would have thought at least one of our member would have just jumped on this one. I guess sometimes you can't see the forest through the RAMBLERS

LOL, yep never saw that coming! Just to clarify that Wiki is wrong on the "Nash Bought out" Hudson, it was a merger not a buy out.

It's a 63 Riv convertible but they weren't made by Buick so I don't know maybe Bill Mitchells personal ride?
